FAQ
Do we have Client Closet Access?
You have access to my women's client closet dresses include in the link below. Please let me know ahead of time if there is a certain dress you plan on using since I often take dresses out to use during other outdoor sessions. At this time I am not allowing access to my children's client closet as its too much to keep track of.
Can we change out the backdrops?
Feel free to bring your own backdrop to use on the portable backdrop stand. I have grey, brown, white, pink, and blue.
Can we use other items in the storage room?
You may use chairs, pillows and blankets to add to the current decor. Everything else is specific to special studio setups. Please put everything back to normal neutral set up when you are done!
Can we move items?
Yes, to an extent. You can move small items but please set it back up as normal before you leave. For example, I often move the baby cradle and mirror off the wall to use as a plain wall. I also moved the peacock chair to use the green wall as a backdrop. These things are easily moved and put back. Please do NOT touch the fabric cloths hanging from the ceiling or attempt to move the bed.
What lighting do you use?
I use LED light walls on wheels. I made them to mimic window light. They are moveable but please be aware of the cords when and where you move them! I typically don't need to move during my sessions as I made them to light the specific areas well.
Do I need to use flash?
You don't need to but if that's how you're comfortable shooting, then go for it. I've had photographers use it. But I personally don't.
Can I set up a cake smash?
Yes, with a backdrop on the portable backdrop stand or simple setup on that plain white wall as you won't be able to hang things with nails or command hooks on the wall. Cake needs to be very neutral colored and the area needs to cleaned up & sanitized well afterwards! (I will provide cleaner!)
Can I do boudoir sessions?
Yes. but please come in fully dressed in normal clothes.
Where is the studio?
It is in my mother in laws basement. The house is located in Guntersville off 431 by the High School. I am working on getting an seperate entrance for the studio.
