Yup, that's me!
Photographer, homeschooling mama of 5, animal-loving homesteader, and professional chaos-embracer.
My life is beautifully chaotic, filled with farm animals, kids running in every direction, a photography business I love, and a wonderful, hardworking husband who makes so much of it possible. Above all, I'm grateful to serve a faithful God who has blessed our family far more than I could have ever imagined.

HEY, I'M DAKOTA. A PHOTOGRAPHER, WIFE AND HOMESCHOOLING MOTHER OF 5...
There are so many things that fill my cup — my family, homeschooling my kids, tending to our little homestead and animals, baking, the reason you're here: photography. While I've enjoyed many creative hobbies over the years, photography is the one that has always stayed with me. There's something so special about looking back at a photo years later and instantly being taken back to that moment. That's exactly why my own kids have thousands of photos—I never want to forget the little moments that make up our lives.
I'm a pretty simple gal—you'll usually find me in a black shirt, jeans, and a ponytail. But I love helping my clients feel confident by styling their sessions. As the oldest of 10 kids, I grew up surrounded by the beautiful chaos of family life, which gave me a deep love for working with families. While the running, laughing, and wiggling may feel chaotic to you, those authentic moments are where I feel most at home.
There's something incredible about pairing a joyful family with God's beautiful creation. Every session is unique, and it never gets old watching your story unfold through my lens. From maternity and newborns to growing families, I'm here to guide you every step of the way—from wardrobe planning to printing your images and everything in between. I'm also excited to offer editing mentorships, workflows, and educational guides for photographers who are eager to grow their skills.
Life isn't always picture-perfect—it's messy, loud, and wonderfully full. Those everyday moments are the ones that matter most, and they're the memories I love preserving for families to cherish for years to come.
