Location Guide
Before selecting a location, think about what type of session you are wanting.
If you have kids, would they do best frolicing in a field...picking flowers and throwing paper airplanes? Would they love playing by the water...skipping rocks and climbing the logs?
Are you looking for a stunning view? Maybe an overlook or waterfall (I know of several waterfalls not listed) is what you want. Keep in mind most of these are drop offs so it can be hard and limiting with multiple little ones. Are you looking for rustic vibes...having coffee and a walk downtown? Maybe even an old building or church for something creative? Skateboards on a parking garage rooftop? Are you looking for something indoors to beat the heat or give a different look. I know of several green houses, glass houses, venues along with my studio. Maybe you don't want to go anywhere and just hang out in your backyard. Have the kids play in the sprinklers, eat cookies on the back porch, jump on the trampoline, or take care of the farm animals.
Location is just as important as styling. Picking a location that is going to bring the most joy and allow for freedom to do the things planned is a must! The options are endless. Let's think about what your family truly enjoys in this stage of life and go from there!
